HOME

Home, written by Samm-Art Williams, tells the story of Cephus Miles, a young Black farmer from Crossroads, North Carolina, whose life is disrupted when he refuses to fight in the Vietnam War. After losing his land, love, and sense of belonging, Cephus travels north in search of opportunity, only to encounter hardship, loneliness, and disillusionment. Through moments of humor, pain, and resilience, the play follows his journey of displacement and ultimately his search for healing and redemption.
